According to reports, a number of Indonesian provinces are predicted to experience heavy rainfall which could be accompanied by strong winds ton Friday (05 January), as per the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) weather early warning.
• The BMKG states that heavy rainfall is predicted to occur in the provinces of Aceh, North Sumatra, West Sumatra, Riau, Kep. Riau, Bengkulu, Jambi, South Sumatra, Kep. Bangka Belitung, Lampung, Banten, West Java, Central Java, DI Yogyakarta, East Java.
• Then, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, Gorontalo, Central Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, North Maluku, Maluku, West Papua and Papua.
• Meanwhile provinces that are also predicted to experience the potential for strong winds of more than 45 km per hour are South Sumatra, West Java, DI Yogyakarta, East Java, West Nusa Tenggara, North Kalimantan and South Kalimantan.
