As per the China Meteorological Administration’s (CMA) latest bulletin at 1800 hours (local time) on Saturday (07 September), it is forecast that until 2000 hours local time on Sunday (08 September), parts of the southern part of the southwest region, southern and western South China will have thunderstorm gale or hail weather of level 8 or above, among which parts of southeastern Yunnan, southern Guangxi and coastal areas will have thunderstorm gale of level 10 or above, with the maximum wind force reaching level 11 or above, and the possibility of tornadoes cannot be ruled out in local areas such as southern Guangxi.

• Additionally, there will be strong winds of 6-7 in the Beibu Gulf, the central and western and southwestern South China Sea, the western coast of Hainan Island, and the coast of Guangxi. Among them, some sea areas or regions in the Beibu Gulf, the coast of Guangxi, the western coast of Hainan Island, etc. will have strong winds of 8-9 and gusts of 10-11.
• Parts of western Jiangnan, South China, and the southwest region will have short-term heavy rainfall with hourly rainfall greater than 20 mm, among which parts of southern Hunan, eastern Yunnan, western and southern Guangxi, southern Guangdong, and other places will have hourly rainfall greater than 50 mm, with a maximum of more than 90 mm.
