As per reports, Oklahoma is forecast to experience heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and a risk of flooding on Tuesday (06 May), beginning as early as 0500 hours local time in areas including Elk City, Hollis, and Altus.
• These storms are expected to shift toward central Oklahoma between 0800 hours local time to 0900 hours local time, with a second round of heavy rainfall moving from western to central Oklahoma by early Tuesday afternoon.
• By Tuesday evening, most of the rainfall will move eastward; however, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms may persist in northwestern Oklahoma and the Oklahoma City metro area.
