As per reports, as of Monday (10 November), temperatures across Santiago and the Metropolitan Region of Chile is expected rise until Saturday (15 November).
• However, from Thursday (13 November), the region is expected to experience a marked increase in temperatures, driven by the arrival of warm easterly winds and the influence of a high-altitude ridge, which will bring warmer and drier air over the capital basin.
• Temperatures are forecast to exceed 30 degrees Celsius in central Santiago, while northern municipalities such as Lampa, Colina, and Tiltil may record 32–33 degrees Celsius .
• The heatwave is expected to continue until Saturday (15 November). The temperatures are expected to subside from Sunday (16 November) onwards.
