As per reports, Heathrow Airport’s border personnel plan have planned to undergo industrial action in the coming weeks, coinciding with the Easter holidays in Great Britain.

• The Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS) voted 90 percent in favor of strike action. PCS members are border agents who carry out passport checks at the UK’s checkpoints in airports like Heathrow.
• The strike vote was prompted by changes to the shift pattern, which the PCS stated, would have a detrimental effect on all the current staff and leave nearly 250 without a job on passport control, including many with disabilities or caring responsibilities.
• While no date has been set for the industrial action, it could affect the London as early as 08 April, as per multiple sources.
