As per the Central Weather Administration (CWA), different heat warnings have been issued for several areas on Thursday morning (20 June) and are in effect through late this afternoon;
• An orange warning is issued for Changhua County, Yunlin County, Tainan City and Pingtung County. Daily maximum temperature to reach 36 degrees Celsius for three consecutive days.
• A yellow warning is issued for Kaohsiung City, Hualien County and Taitung County. Daily maximum temperature to reach 36 degrees Celsius.
