As per reports, the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) and the Met Office issued a 36-hour yellow heat health alert for Cambridgeshire, including the cities of Cambridge, Peterborough, and Ely.
• This alert is set to begin at 2100 hours local time on Saturday (31 August) and will last until 0900 hours local time on Monday (02 September).
• During this period, temperatures are expected to reach the mid-20 degrees Celsius, which could lead to minor health impacts, particularly for vulnerable populations such as the elderly, children, and those with pre-existing medical conditions.
