As per reports, a bomb threat via mail was sent to a Gurudwara on Halasuru Main Road in Bengaluru. While the threat is reported to have been sent a few days prior, the Gurudwara appraised the authorities of the same on Friday (29 August), following which a case was registered.

The hoax mail, sent under the alias of a pro-Dravidian separatist entity, claimed that four improvised explosive devices (IEDs) containing RDX were planted in the Gurudwara’s bathroom.
