As per reports, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) contractors staged a protest on Monday (20 May) in Hyderabad at the GHMC head office demanding the clearance of their due payments. The protest included a strike action across all civic maintenance projects.

Similar protests were held across other GHMC offices in the city. They also claimed that payments up to INR 1,320 crore have not been cleared.
