As per reports, Bhutan’s former prime minister Tshering Tobgay of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) won the 2024 Bhutan National Assembly General Elections, with 30 seats in parliament on Tuesday (09 January) and is reported to become the next Prime Minister of Bhutan. The remaining 17 seats were taken by Bhutan Tendrel Party (BTP). The final poll results will be released on Wednesday (10 January) by the Bhutan’s election commission.
