Flood alert issued for over 40 locations in the Czech Republic on Wednesday (03 December)

As per reports, the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (CHMU) issued flood alerts for over 40 locations in the Czech Republic on Wednesday (03 December). 

• Notably, the Labe (Elbe) River in Vestrev, east Bohemia, and the Otava River in Rejstejn, west Bohemia reached the highest, third-degree flood warning as of Wednesday (03 December). Additional areas have declared second or first-degree flood alerts.
• In mountain ranges such as Sumava, Krkonose, and Jizera, a heavy rainfall warning is in effect until Thursday (04 January) morning, accompanied by ongoing river flood warnings.
