As per reports, a fire broke out at the Terukuni Air Conditioning South Sales Office in Nakayama-cho, Kagoshima City, Kagoshima Prefecture, at approximately 1405 hours (local time) on Sunday (12 July).

• The fire affected an office building and an adjacent materials storage facility belonging to the company.
• The fire damaged two single-storey structures, comprising an office and a materials storage area, with a combined floor area of approximately 140 square metres.
• According to the Kagoshima South Police Station, the office was closed on the day of the incident and no employees or other occupants were inside the premises at the time the fire broke out.
• Emergency responders were subsequently dispatched to the site to contain the fire and secure the surrounding area. No injuries or fatalities have been reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
