As per reports, a fire broke out in a Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) bus at the Swargate Bus Depot Workshop, Pune on Saturday (09 November) morning but action by the city’s Fire Brigade ensured that the flames were quickly brought under control. The incident occurred at approximately 0943 hours when the bus’s front side suddenly caught fire. There were no injuries reported.

Upon receiving the emergency call, a fire engine from the Fire Headquarters was dispatched to the scene. Firefighters arrived quickly and assessed the situation, finding the front section of the bus engulfed in flames. They immediately began dousing the fire from all directions using water, successfully extinguishing the blaze within just 10 minutes.
