As per reports, a fire broke out in the upper floors of the Emirates Financial Tower located on Sheikh Zayed Road in Downtown Dubai during the early hours of Thursday (18 June).
• The fire reportedly originated on a floor undergoing maintenance work.
• Thick black smoke and flames were observed emanating from the upper levels of the building.
• Dubai Civil Defence teams, police units, firefighters, and emergency rescue personnel were deployed to the site shortly after the incident was reported.
• Authorities successfully contained the fire and completed cooling operations in accordance with established emergency procedures.
• No injuries or casualties have been reported.
• Roads leading to the building, including Al Sukuk Street, were temporarily closed and public access to the immediate area was restricted to facilitate emergency response operations.
• Authorities continue to conduct safety assessments and post-incident inspections at the site.
