As per reports, Polish farmers claim they have not received a signed guarantee from the Prime Minister that their requests would be fulfilled, thus they will restart their blockade at the Medyka border crossing with Ukraine on Thursday (04 January).

Polish farmers specifically demand an increase in the amounts of state loans, subsidies for corn cultivation and the freezing of some taxes. The protest was put on hold on 24 December, 2023.
