As per reports, farmers on Sunday (21 April) protested against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate in Batala and party leader Arvind Khanna in Barnala due to the unmet demands on Sunday (21 April). A heavy police force was deployed and barricades were raised in the impacted areas.
