As per reports, municipal authorities and regional transit agencies have announced a comprehensive temporary traffic restriction across the Old Bridge (joint automotive and rail bridge over the Volga River) in Astrakhan on Saturday (04 July).
• The complete operational block is scheduled to take effect at 0600 hours local time (0200 hours UTC) on Saturday (04 July).
• The temporary interdiction is scheduled to remain enforced for 16 consecutive hours, with the link scheduled to officially reopen at 2200 hours local time (1800 hours UTC).
• Due to the total closure of the infrastructure corridor to private and commercial vehicular traffic, municipal transport officials have authorized significant modifications to four active public bus routes.
• The affected public transit lines required to operate under temporary detour and bypass routing include bus numbers 24, 47, 55, and 59.
• The affected areas encompass the entire length of the Old Bridge across the Volga River, connecting transit nodes along Vostochny Island, and peripheral approach grids in the Truvovsky and central municipal districts of Astrakhan, Russia.
