As per reports, an industrial explosion occurred in Vaughan, Ontario, on Bradwick Drive near Highway 7 at approximately 1520 hours (local time) on Tuesday (24 June).
• The incident resulted in injuries to two workers. One of the workers has sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital for emergency care. The second worker was also injured, though the severity has not been publicly disclosed.
• York Regional Police responded to the incident, and initial findings indicate that foul play is not suspected. The Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development is reported to be on site and has initiated an official investigation into the cause and circumstances of the explosion.
