As per reports, an explosion was reported in Stockholm’s Marieberg at around 0010 hours on Saturday (19 April). Emergency personnel and police are on site, but no injuries have been reported so far.

The explosion occurred at an apartment with broken glass strewn everywhere and one gate damaged.

• The national bomb squad is in place, but there is no confirmation yet on whether it is a hand grenade or another type of bomb.
• A preliminary investigation into public danger and a serious violation of the Act on Flammable and Explosive Goods has been initiated.
