As per reports, the Dominican Institute of Meteorology (INDOMET) has forecast intense heat across the Dominican Republic on Friday (10 July), with maximum temperatures in Gran Santo Domingo ranging between 32 degrees Celsius and 34 degrees Celsius.
• Rainfall is expected to decrease significantly from Friday (10 July) due to a departing trough and a tropical wave over Haiti, with INDOMET discontinuing all previously issued weather alerts and warnings.
• Reports indicate that weak and isolated rainfall is expected to continue during the early hours of Friday (10 July) in Pedernales, Barahona, Independencia, Bahoruco, Elías Piña, Dajabón, San Juan and Santiago.
• Isolated afternoon rainfall remains possible in localities along the Central mountain range, along with isolated rainfall in Santo Domingo Norte.
