As per reports, the British Colombia (BC) Wildfire Service announced that open burning will be banned across much of northern British Columbia starting from Thursday (28 March) and remain in effect until 15 October.

This Order applies to the following geographic boundaries, the Prince George Forest District, the Stuart Nechako Forest District, the Mackenzie Forest District, the Peace Forest District and the Fort Nelson Forest District.
