As per reports, three people were arrested in the course of the operation against an organized group engaged in trafficking, distribution, and possession of drugs by officers from the Directorate General for Combating Organized Crime in Sofia on Wednesday (31 July). As of Thursday (01 August), the identities of the arrested individuals have not been released.

• Large quantities of different illicit substances, such as cocaine, ecstasy, heroin, amphetamines, and marijuana were seized during searches of five addresses and three motor vehicles. Most of the drugs were found in a high-end property in Sofia.
