As per reports, approximately 8,000 demonstrators marched through central Rome on Saturday (19 October), protesting the Ddl Sicurezza bill, which is perceived as imposing restrictions on the right to demonstrate.
• The protest was organized under the slogan ‘No to Ddl 1660,’ with participation from various unions, including SI Cobas, USB (Unione Sindacale di Base), Osa (Organizzazione Studentesca Autonoma), and Cambiare Rotta.
• Demonstrators gathered at Piazza Vittorio, proceeded to Piazza Esquilino, and then reached Via dei Fori Imperiali for final speeches and a display of fireworks.
