As per reports, leaked documents from i-Soon, a Chinese cybersecurity company, have reportedly provided fresh evidence of China’s extensive cyber espionage operations as of Sunday (21 April). The documents shed light on China’s alleged utilisation of hackers to target Hong Kong’s pro-democracy activists and the Uyghur community in Xinjiang.
They also revealed China’s targeted cyber attacks on Tibetan refugees in India’s Dharamshala, including attempted cyber attacks on the office of the Dalai Lama. The Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) and China’s Police agencies are the largest clients of the company i-Soon.
