The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has stated that cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very cold in northern parts. However, rainfall (snowfall over mountain) is expected in Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and surrounding hilly areas. Shallow to moderate fog is likely to persist in few plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh, on Monday (29 January).
