As per reports, a cold front is expected between Friday (14 March) and Saturday (15 March) which may bring strong wind gusts and a notable temperature drop across multiple regions in Texas.
• The Texas Panhandle, North Texas, and South Central Texas may experience cooler temperatures, with the most significant drop expected in Amarillo, where highs may hardly to break 58 degrees Fahrenheit.
• The Texas Panhandle recently saw unexpected snowfall, but this upcoming cold front may primarily bring a 15-degree temperature drop, keeping highs in the upper 50s. While precipitation isn’t expected, wind gusts over 60 miles per hour on Thursday (13 March), may cause damage.
• North Texas, including Dallas-Fort Worth, may see temperatures drop more than 10 degrees, settling in the low 70s over the weekend. Gusty winds up to 40 miles per hour are forecast on Friday (14 March).
• San Antonio and South Central Texas may also experience a cooling trend, with highs dropping from 92 degrees Fahrenheit to 79 degrees fahrenheit by Saturday (15 March).
