The China Meteorological Administration (CMA) has forecasted heavy snowfall, rainfall, and strong winds to continue in several provinces of China between Monday-Sunday (17-23 March). Blue alert for strong winds has been issued by CMA. The details are as follows:

• On Sunday (16 March), moderate to heavy rainfall occurred in parts of northwestern Yunnan, southeastern Tibet, southeastern Sichuan, southwestern Chongqing, northern Guizhou, and northern and southwestern Hainan Island.
• Local heavy rainfall occurred in Nujiang and Diqing in Yunnan. Light snowfall or sleet occurred in parts of southern Qinghai, southwestern and eastern Tibet, and the western Sichuan Plateau. Moderate or heavy snowfall occurred in Ali in Tibet and Ganzi in Sichuan on Sunday (16 March).
• From Monday (17 March) to Sunday (23 March), light to moderate snowfall or sleet is expected in eastern Tibet, southern Qinghai, western Sichuan, northern Yunnan, and other places, with heavy to blizzards in some areas.
• Light to moderate rainfall is expected in southeastern Tibet, the Sichuan Basin, Guizhou, central and southern Yunnan, and other places, with heavy rainfall in some areas between Monday (17 March) to Sunday (23 March).
• During afternoon to night hours on Monday (17 March), parts of eastern Inner Mongolia, southern and western Liaoning, eastern Tibet, southern Qinghai, and the western Sichuan Plateau will experience light to moderate snowfall or sleet. Among them, parts of eastern Tibet and the western Sichuan Plateau will experience heavy to severe snowfall.​
• Meanwhile, there will be level 5-6 winds in central Inner Mongolia, northern and eastern North China, Shandong Peninsula, with local wind force possibly reaching level 7 or above. Most waters of the Yellow Sea, the northern waters of the East China Sea, and the northeastern waters of the South China Sea will experience level 7-8 winds and gusts of level 9. The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a blue warning for strong winds this morning.
