As per reports, the National Association of Grain Producers (NAZ) in Bulgaria is threatening to stage protests and shut down 85 points across the country between 1000 and 1400 hours local time on Tuesday (06 February) due to the risk of bankruptcy, especially for medium-sized farms.

• NAZ also announced that the duration of protest actions will escalate each day (excluding Saturdays and Sundays when roads will not be blocked).
• The official announcement by the NAZ along with the 85 junctions to be affected can be found here: https://www.grain.bg/naz-obqvqva-efektivni-protestni-deistviq/.
• On Monday (05 February), representatives of over 20 agricultural organizations gathered at the Ministry of Agriculture, demanding the resignation of Minister of Agriculture and Food Kiril Vatev.
