As per reports, the Bhusanayana Mukundadas Sreenivasaiah (BMS) College of Engineering, MS Ramaiah College and the Bangalore Institute of Technology (BIT) College received bomb threats on Friday (04 October) via email at around 1300 hours. A case has been booked in Hanumanth Nagar Police Station, and the campuses were put on high alert.

Search operations are underway along with bomb disposal squads and anti-sabotage teams.
