As per reports, a bomb threat prompted an evacuation at Heritage High School in Wake Forest, North Carolina on Thursday (29 August) morning, with some students needing help dealing with the severe heat outside.
• The school became aware of the threat at around 1017 hours (local time) and told all students and staff to leave the building.
• The evacuation forced students to be outside for more than two hours in some cases. The temperature rose into the upper 90s degrees Fahrenheit and heat index values were in the 100s degrees Fahrenheit on Thursday (29 August) afternoon.
• While no bombs or suspicious devices were found on the school’s campus, law enforcements reportedly carried out investigations even after the students and staffs were released.
