As per reports, a team from a bank, which had gone to Ahemi village of the Pihani Kotwali area of Hardoi to recover an outstanding loan amount of INR 1.3 lakhs, was beaten up and taken hostage by the defaulter and his family members. Police reached the spot after receiving information and rescued the members of the team.
