As per reports, Bandung, West Java is the city with the most cases of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DBD). The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes RI) reported that as of 26 March or the 13th week, dengue cases in Indonesia were reported to have reached 53,131 people.
From the disease monitoring system, Bandung recorded a total of 1,741 dengue cases, followed by Kendari with 1,195 cases, West Bandung with 1,143 cases, Bogor with 939 cases, and Subang with 909 cases.
• Even though dengue cases have increased, the hospital bed occupancy rate (BOR) is still at a safe threshold.
• Director General of Disease Prevention and Control, Maxi Rein Rondonuwu, assesses that the increase in cases of dengue hemorrhagic fever in recent times has not reached its maximum point. The increase in dengue cases is predicted to continue until the next transition season.
