As per reports, the Sa Kaeo Governor Parinya Phothisat on Thursday (04 September) ordered all Cambodian settlers in Ban Nong Chan, Khok Sung District to be evicted, or face penalties under the Immigration Act and Forest Laws of Thailand.
Multiple authorities in Sa Kaeo province have installed warning signs in three languages—Thai, Cambodian, and English—near Ban Nong Chan, Khok Sung district. The signs inform Cambodian nationals (who have allegedly encroached) on Thai land to dismantle their structures and vacate the area.
