As per reports, a thief who was trying to withdraw money by changing the ATM password of another user’s card located in Naupedwa Bazaar was caught by the guards on duty and handed over to the police on Wednesday afternoon (13 March).

Guards stated that an account holder already present in the ATM was trying to withdraw money when the accused standing behind took the account holder’s ATM card in his hand and attempted to change the password. During initial interrogation, around 25 ATM cards of various banks were recovered from the accused youth, a resident of Azamgarh.
