As per reports, the Arlberg road tunnel on the Arlberg expressway S16 is scheduled to be closed to all traffic from 15 April until 22 November 2024, due to renovation work.
The roadway, drainage and tunnel coating will be renewed, according to the road construction company Asfinag. Traffic will be rerouted via the Arlberg Pass or largely via Germany and Switzerland.
