As per reports, first Antonijas Street Festival is scheduled to take place in Riga starting a new tradition in the city on Saturday (05 September).
• The street is expected to be filled with music, various activities and culinary delights, while the central meeting point of the festival is expected to be a nearly 60 meter long community table in the middle of Antonijas Street.
• The musical program is expected to take place from 1300 hours local time (1000 hours UTC) to 2200 hours local time (1900 hours UTC). The program is expected to include a special performance by the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra’s small ensemble ‘Latvian Brass’ besides other performances.
• Open yoga class is scheduled to start at 1200 hours local time (0900 hours UTC) in the courtyard of the Medical Museum.
• The youngest visitors can meet their favorite characters from ‘Tutas lietu’ from 1300 hours local time (1000 hours UTC) to 1500 hours local time (1200 hours UTC).
• At 1800 hours local time (1500 hours UTC) the community table is expected to be prepared for the evening celebration.
