As per reports, a protest took place at the Jamia Millia Islamia campus on Monday (11 March) against the decision by the Union Government to implement the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA)-2019. Several students led by the Muslim Students Federation (MSF) and Jamia unit of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) demonstrated against the Central Government and Delhi Police.

Acting Vice Chancellor Eqbal Hussain has mentioned that security arrangements have been tightened to avoid any further agitation.
