As per reports, the departments of Mayenne and Maine-et-Loire are placed on red alert through Friday (21 June) due to overflowing of the Oudon River, particularly in Craon (Mayenne) where the river reportedly flooded the city center.
• The decline of water level has been recorded. However, heavy rainfall is still expected on Friday (21 June).
• The Minister of Ecological Transition, Christophe Béchu, is scheduled to visit the aforementioned departments on Friday (21 June) morning to meet the victims and the emergency services and visit the affected areas.
• Additionally, Météo-France has place 12 other departments on orange alert for rainfall, floods, or storms, mainly in the Center-West as well as in Isère, in Savoie and in the Hautes-Alpes regions on Friday (21 June).
