As per reports, the alert has been raised for the pro-Palestine demonstration scheduled in Rome on Saturday (05 October).

• Rome is on alert on Saturday (05 October), as some groups could converge on Piazzale Ostiense for Pro-Palestine marches, despite the ban imposed by the Police Headquarters. The protests are scheduled two days before 07 October, which will mark the first anniversary of the Israel-Hamas war.
• Around 30 thousand people are expected to participate in the demonstration.
• The demonstration is expected to commence at 1400 hours local time in Piazzale Ostiense.
• Organizations, including the Arab-Palestinian Democratic Union, the Young Palestinians and Potere al Popolo, as well as some student groups, have confirmed their presence in the square on Saturday (05 October) on their social media channels for the demonstartion.
