As per reports, strong winds have diverted an Air New Zealand flight bound for Auckland to Hamilton on Thursday (16 January). Flight NZ612 departed Queenstown for Auckland at about 1035 hours (local time). The authorities stated that the aircraft would refuel before heading back to Auckland.
