As per reports, Aemet has warned of severe heat conditions in Malaga and Costa Del Sol from Wednesday (10 April) through Monday (15 April), owing to the arrival of an anticyclonic circulation in the region.
• Temperatures of upto 33 degrees Celsius in municipalities in the Guadalhorce valley are predicted while Malaga city on the Costa del Sol is expected to experience temperatures upto 31 degrees Celsius.
• An anticyclone centred the south of Malaga will exert its influence on the Spanish mainland preventing the passage of rain-bearing wind systems, leading to dry weather and heat.
• Conditions are only expected to abate mid-week post 15 April following which, slight reductions in temperatures are anticipated.
