As per reports, adverse weather conditions are forecast in parts of Mexico on Saturday (15 June).
• Heavy rainfall ranging from 150 to 250 mm is anticipated in Chiapas, Oaxaca, and Tabasco. In Campeche, Quintana Roo, Veracruz, and Yucatán, rainfall accumulations are expected to range between 75 to 150 mm. Guerrero is forecast to receive 50 to 75 mm of rainfall. Occasional lightning and hail may accompany these weather conditions.
• Wind gusts of 50 to 70 km/h and possible waterspouts are predicted on the coasts of Campeche, Chiapas, Guerrero, Oaxaca, Quintana Roo, Tabasco, southern Veracruz and Yucatán, as well as waves of 2.5 to three meters on the coasts of Chiapas, Guerrero and Oaxaca, and 1.5 to two meters on the coasts of Quintana Roo.
• Wind with gusts of 40 to 60 km/h and possible dust storms are expected in Aguascalientes, Baja California, Baja California Sur, Chihuahua, Mexico City, Coahuila, Durango, State of Mexico, Guanajuato, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Michoacán, Morelos, Nuevo León, Puebla, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, Sinaloa, Sonora, Tamaulipas, Tlaxcala and Zacatecas.
• Temperatures may exceed 45 degrees Celsius in areas of Baja California, Sinaloa and Sonora. Temperatures of 40 to 45 degrees Celsius are expected in Baja California Sur, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Guerrero, Jalisco, Michoacán, Nayarit, Nuevo León, San Luis Potosí, Tamaulipas, northern Veracruz and Zacatecas, and from 35 to 40 degrees Celsius in Aguascalientes, Durango, Campeche, Colima, southwest of the State of Mexico, Guanajuato, north of Hidalgo, Morelos, Oaxaca, north and southwest of Puebla and Yucatán.
