As per the latest earthquake bulletin issued by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), the following earthquakes were recorded off Surigao Del Sur on Saturday (03 August).

• A 6.8 magnitude earthquake with a depth of 09 kilometres occurred at 0622 hours (local time), 66 kilometres off Lingig, Surigao Del Sur.
• Several aftershocks have been recorded thereafter: 4.4 magnitude at 0645 hours; 4.6 magnitude at 0652 hours; 4.7 magnitude at 0736 hours; and 4.2 magnitude at 0823 hours.
• A more significant aftershock measuring 5.5 in magnitude occurred 57 kilometres off Lingig (Surigao Del Sur) at 0938 hours, following which a 4.1 magnitude aftershock was recorded in the area at 1035 hours (local time).
• At 1117 hours (local time), a 5.2 magnitude aftershock occurred 70 kilometres off Lingig, Surigao Del Sur.
