As per reports, the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center has reported that a 4.3 magnitude earthquake struck Sankhuwasabha district at around 0732 hours (local time) on Tuesday (28 October), with its epicenter near Kimathanka, a border area with Tibet. An official notification is currently awaited.
In addition, the District Administration Office, Sankhuwasabha, stated that there are currently no reports of casualties or damage resulting from the earthquake.
