As per reports, a moderate 4.2 magnitude earthquake was felt across parts of the Libertador General Bernardo O’Higgins and Maule regions of Chile at approximately 1546 hours local time (1946 hours UTC) on Saturday (20 June).
The earthquake was located approximately 21 kilometers southeast of Curicó in the Maule Region.
• The National Disaster Prevention and Response Service (Servicio Nacional de Prevención y Respuesta ante Desastres – SENAPRED) reported that the earthquake was perceived with light to moderate intensity across affected areas.
• As of 1624 hours local time (2024 hours UTC) on Saturday (20 June), no casualties, damage to infrastructure, disruptions to essential services, or other significant impacts have been reported.
