As per reports, 24-hour national train strike will take place in Rome and across Italy starting at 2100 hours (local time) on Saturday (25 January) and ending at 2100 hours (local time) on Sunday (26 January).
• The strike is organized by the trade unions Sgb, Cub Trasporti, and Usb Lavoro, and it will affect various types of trains operated by the FS Group, including High-Speed, Red Arrow, Silver Arrow, Intercity, and Regional trains.
• The strike will last 24 hours for most workers but will be limited to eight hours, ending at 0459 hours (local time) on Sunday (26 January) for members of the Unione sindacale di base (USB).
• The strike will occur without guaranteed service bands, meaning disruptions can happen at any time during the 24-hour period and may extend beyond the official strike times.
