As per reports, a national strike has been announced by the ORSA Ferrovie union, affecting Trenord rail services across Italy from Wednesday (05 February) until Thursday (06 February).

• The strike will commence on Wednesday (05 February) at 0300 hours (local time) and conclude on Thursday (06 February) at 0200 hours (local time). This strike will significantly disrupt normal rail operations, with potential changes to train services before and after the official strike hours.
• Trenord trains, including some long-distance services, will be affected. The following guaranteed long-distance trains are scheduled: RJ82: Departure from Bologna Centrale at 1352 hours (local time) on Wednesday (05 February), arriving in Bolzano at 1634 hours (local time) on Wednesday (05 February), and arriving at Munich Central Station at 2026 hours (local time) on Wednesday (05 February).RJ83: Departure from Munich Central Station at 0933 hours (local time) on Wednesday (05 February), arriving in Bolzano at 1331 hours (local time) on Wednesday (05 February), and arriving at Bologna Centrale at 1608 hours (local time) on Wednesday (05 February).
• Cancellations and changes to the timetable may occur without prior notice. All train cancellations will be updated a few hours in advance on the Südtirolmobil app/website under ‘Departures’ and ‘Connections.’ However, changes and cancellations may still occur last minute, and passengers should be vigilant.
