As per reports, in Chimbote, Áncash, 10 areas have been identified with an increase in dengue cases being recorded as of Tuesday (16 April). The North Pacific Health Network (RSPN) has been carrying out the respective coordination to begin fumigation and cut the chain of infections.
• As of Tuesday (16 April), 31142 cases of dengue have been confirmed in Chimbote.
• The following are the 10 areas with an increase in dengue infections: Chimbote urban area (368 cases), Dos de Mayo (262), Miraflores Alto (170), Progreso (159), Porvenir zone A (156), Esperanza Baja (121), Esperanza Alta (114), San Pedro (114), La Unión (103) and La Victoria (94).
