As per reports, the Jordan Meteorological Department has issued a weather alert indicating that the Kingdom will be impacted by a heat wave on Friday (08 August), driven by an intensifying hot air mass over the region.

• Temperatures are forecast to rise significantly, with hot conditions in most regions and very hot weather in the Jordan Valley, Aqaba, and the Dead Sea.
• Moderate northeasterly winds, occasionally active, are expected to stir up dust, particularly in the Badia regions.
• At night, temperatures will remain relatively high in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, while most other regions will experience moderate conditions with some high-altitude cloud cover.

• Dust-raising winds in the Badia regions may reduce visibility and degrade air quality, posing risks for those with respiratory conditions, and potentially affecting road safety and air transport operations in desert corridors.
