Description:

As per reports, a gas pipeline owned by PT Pertamina EP Regional 02, Zone 07, Field Subang exploded following a reported leak in Cidahu Village, Subang, West Java, at approximately 0420 hours (local time) on Tuesday (05 August).

• Subang police have secured the incident site.
• Out of eight employees present onsite, two suffered injuries and have been hospitalised.
• Residents of the nearby Babakan village reportedly heard the blast, but no civilian injuries have been reported there.

Impact:

Heightened security measures and cordons in the area may temporarily disrupt the services near the incident site. Delays in the commute can be expected. The affected pipeline is likely to undergo safety inspections to prevent fire risks or leakage of hazardous substances.
